MOTHER...

You filled my days with rainbow lights,
fairytales and sweet dream nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
Gingerbread to ease my fears.
You gave the gift of life to me,
And then in love, you set me free.
I thank you for your tender care,
for deep warm hugs and being there.
I hope that when you think of me,
A part of you, you'll always see.

i burst into tears.
i wish i could be home.
i wish i could hug and kiss you and say 'happy mother's day'.
i wish i could cook for u on this special day.


there are too many wishes to list.
and those wishes are not even doable.
due to the fact that i'm far away from home.
and far away from you.


i've not been celebrating this special day for 2 years.
and perhaps, i wont be able to celebrate it for the next 2 years.
though i'm not physically there, beside u.
trust me, you're with me all the time.
